Rail Forum event gears up for record attendance

The Rail Forum Annual Conference returns on 11 October, with a packed programme of industry speakers and a larger venue to accommodate a record number of delegates.
 
The conference, which will be held at the ICC Birmingham, will bring together industry leaders and senior decision makers from across the sector to discuss and debate ‘Delivering a Better, Simpler Railway’.
 
This year’s conference will feature four sessions under the overarching theme of a “Better, Simpler Railway” and focussed on: 

  • Project delivery
  • Innovation
  • Inclusivity and
  • Customers

Elaine Clark, CEO at Rail Forum said “We are really looking forward to hosting our Annual Conference in October. After last year’s hugely successful event we took the decision to move to a much bigger venue. The ICC in Birmingham can accommodate not only our members but additional industry colleagues who wish to attend also.”
 
Confirmed speakers include Mark Thurston, CEO of HS2 who will deliver the keynote address together with Sambit Banerjee, Managing Director Rolling Stock & Customer Services UKI for Siemens; Simon Scott, Engineering Director for East West Rail and Maggie Simpson, Director General of RFG”.
