SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business appoints Lizi Stewart as Managing Director for Transportation

Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has appointed Lizi Stewart as Managing Director of its transportation division in the UK and Europe.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation, and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Lizi has held a number of senior roles in the transportation, retail, financial services and property sectors, working with clients across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia. She joins the business from Arcadis, where she was the Managing Director of Highways and Aviation.

In her new role, Lizi will be responsible for driving further growth in the rail, highways and local transport markets, where the organisation has firmly established itself as one of the UK’s leading design, engineering and project management consultancies. As well as overseeing the delivery of existing major transportation contracts, she will look to increase the company’s project portfolio and client base across the UK.

Lizi will begin her role on February 1 and will be based at Nova North, SNC-Lavalin’s new European HQ in London.
