In just two months, Ukrainian Railways has worked with Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) to save 690 wounded and sick Donbas residents and 248 members of their families using its medical trains.
Furthermore, a separate trip rescued 78 orphans.

The eight-car train has carried out 28 journeys to rescue people. Routes and stops of the train are kept secret for security reasons.
The converted train is a “track hospital” with an intensive care unit, an ultrasound machine, a dozen oxygen concentrators, defibrillators, a cardio monitoring system and infusion pumps. It makes use of 23 old passenger cars.
